Mr. Ismet Dil is president and master tailor. Sam Scogna started Scogna Custom Tailor and Formal Wear in 1920. He immigrated to the U.S. from Italy in 1911. Customers have included presidents Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Lyndon B. Johnson; publisher William R. Hearst; and Winston Churchill.

"He may not make the nation's laws—but his clothes often make the nation's lawmakers," the San Bernardino Sun wrote in 1952 of Sam. He died in 1985, at 81 years old.

Mr. Dil continues the tradition with fine attention to detail and decades of experience.
